Bizspace is offering a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Sales Consultants who are well networked and experienced to drive sales within the business and close targeted deals. Sales Consultants should be natural “hunters”, enthusiastic and energetic and be a self starter and driver at heart.


What you will do ...

  • Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Promote/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
  • Meet with customers over the phone, email, or on site to assist in technical aspects of business development and sales
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how our products meet client needs
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements - speak with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers to determine their potential
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
  • Relationship building
  • Researching the market and related products
  • Presenting the product or service in a structured professional way face to face
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities
  • Identify advantages and compares organisation's products/services
  • Plan and organise personal sales strategies by maximising the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment
  • Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of relevant literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed


Must have ...

  • Must possess minimum 5 years sales experience in the selling of technology or software development products and/or services
  • Demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written & verbal)
  • Must be able to travel both within South Africa and abroad
  • Valid driver's license and car.
